FIREARM CONSIGNMENT AGREEMENT
- Consignor agrees to place the item/s listed below on consignment with Rougaroux Firearms, LLC to try to sell the munder the terms of this agreement. Rougaroux Firearms, LLC agrees to accept the items listed for consignment sale under the terms of this agreement. The consignor represents that they are the rightful owner of the items listed, and that the items are free of any encumbrance. While this agreement is in effect, Consignor agrees to grant the exclusive right to Rougaroux Firearms, LLC to market, advertise and sell the item/s listed below.
- Rougaroux Firearms, LLC will inspect all of the items listed in this agreement, and will determine condition and functionality. Rougaroux Firearms, LLC will write up the description and specifications necessary in order to offer the items for sale. Rougaroux Firearms, LLC will offer the items for sale on its website rougarouxfirearms.com, at suitable trade-shows, Internet auctions, etc.
- The consignment fee shall be 15% of the selling price of the item, with a minimum fee of $40 per item, and a maximum fee of $1000 per item. Fees for other services provided by Rougaroux Firearms, LLC (e.g. cleaning, repair, etc.) or for services provided by third-party vendors (e.g. auction listing fees, credit-card fees, shipping fees) are additional and are not included in the consignment fee. When the items consigned are sold and final payment is made by the buyer, the Consignor will receive the net amount within 30 days via business check, cash, or money order at the convenience of Rougaroux Firearms, LLC.
- The Consignor agrees that, as Rougaroux Firearms, LLC is require all the inspections and specifications, prepare the item/s for sale, and advertise the items that the item consigned will be left on consignment with Rougaroux Firearms, LLC for a minimum of sixty (60) days. This agreement will continue indefinitely beyond the original 60 day period unless either party notifies the other of their intent to terminate it. Because a sale may be pending, or an advertisement just placed; the Consignor agrees to give thirty (30) days notice if the Consignee wishes to have items covered by this agreement returned. If the Consignee decides to have their consigned items returned, Federal Law requires that the Cosigner fill all appropriate BATFE / LA forms and pass the NICS background check as if they were purchasing the firearm/s. CC Permit of Louisiana holders can use the LA State Police check if available.
