What is cerakote ?

In the mid-1980s, NIC Industries created a revolutionary ceramic-based coating called Cerakote, transforming the gun industry and beyond. This versatile finish can be applied to materials such as metals, polymers, plastics, and wood. Its applications and benefits include:

Firearms: Protects gun parts from wear, scratches, and corrosion while offering impact and heat resistance for safer operation.
Automotive: Withstands temperatures up to 900°F for metal surfaces and up to 2000°F for exhaust systems.

Available in various colors, Cerakote can create custom graphics and patterns by layering. Application methods include:

Air-curing: Suitable for parts requiring lower temperature tolerance.
Oven-curing: Ideal for higher temperature-resistant parts (most items we handle are oven-cured).

All pricing includes:

Disassembly: Preferably done by the customer; otherwise, a disassembly fee applies.
Sandblasting: Ensures adhesion by finely sanding surfaces.
Degreasing: Removes residual oil with a degreasing solution and baking process.
Application: Applied with a spray gun.
Curing: Hardened in an oven.
