ROUGAROUX FIREARMS LLC FIREARM ENGRAVING SERVICE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & RELEASE AGREEMENT
This Agreement is entered into on the date of signature below by and between Rougaroux Firearms, LLC (“Service Provider”) and the undersigned individual or organization (“Customer”).
Scope of Work
Customer has requested that Rougaroux Firearms, LLC perform laser engraving services on one or more firearms or firearm components owned by the Customer. Customer acknowledges that laser engraving is a permanent modification to the firearm or component.
2. Ownership & Legal Compliance
Customer represents and warrants that:

The firearms and/or components presented for engraving are legally owned by the Customer or the Customer’s organization.

The Customer has full legal authority to authorize modifications to the firearms.

All firearms provided comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Rougaroux Firearms, LLC assumes no responsibility for verifying ownership or legal status beyond standard business practices.
3. Permanent Modification Acknowledgement
Customer acknowledges that:

Laser engraving permanently alters the surface of a firearm or firearm component.

Cosmetic differences may occur due to material variations, coatings, finishes, or prior wear.

Once engraving work begins, the modification cannot be reversed or undone.
Customer accepts these risks as part of the engraving process.

4. Limitation of Liability
Upon completion of the requested engraving services and return of the firearm(s) or component(s) to the Customer, Rougaroux Firearms, LLC shall not be held liable for any future use, misuse, modification, transfer, storage, or handling of the firearm(s).
Rougaroux Firearms, LLC shall not be liable for:

Any damages resulting from the operation or use of the firearm after return to the Customer.

Any injury, death, or property damage resulting from the use or misuse of the firearm.

Any mechanical, structural, or functional issues unrelated to the engraving work.

Any alterations, repairs, or modifications made to the firearm after it leaves Rougaroux Firearms, LLC’s control.
5. Release of Claims
Customer agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Rougaroux Firearms, LLC, its owners, employees, agents, and contractors from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, or legal actions arising from:

Use of the firearm after it has been returned to the Customer.

Transfer or sale of the firearm to a third party.

Any modification, repair, or alteration performed by any party other than Rougaroux Firearms, LLC after the firearm is returned.
6. Inspection Upon Return
Customer agrees to inspect all firearms and components upon return. Acceptance of the firearm(s) constitutes confirmation that the engraving work was completed as requested.

7. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Louisiana.
